At the last NRMAC meeting, the community commented on the proposed density planned for the North Richmond community. We expressed that we wanted to maintain opportunities for homeownership and single-family homes with yards. (And, had no desire to be flooded with multi-units.) Based on community comments, the planner adjusted the density downward accordingly. The Contra Costa County 2023-2031 Housing Element has now been drafted and is ready for public review. Take some time to review the draft here and submit comments to the County by December 19, 2022 1. Comments can be submitted by email to Maureen Toms, Deputy Director, Policy Planning, at [email protected], or 2.
